OBOD members as well as people interested in OBOD are welcome to attend the Grove of Manannan mac Lir's monthly meeting. The monthly meeting occurs in San Francisco on Divisadero Street, near Haight Street. There is a pot-luck dinner, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the dining room, which enables new people to socialize with the regular members. This is followed from 7:00 to 9:00 pm with spiritual work including creating sacred space, guided journeys and meditations, from OBOD tradition as well as the teachings of the well-known, celtic teacher, R.J. Stewart. Many Bay-Area OBOD members are also students of R.J. Stewart, and this meeting includes some of R.J. Stewart's local advanced students. Persons interested in attending this monthly meeting must first talk with Chief Druid of the Grove of Manannan mac Lir, Dr. Rodney Karr. Please give him a call at (415) 931-1934, or send an email to: infodom@druidry-sf.org, to explore being invited to this monthly meeting.

The Manannan mac Lir Grove is a group of members of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD) in and around the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California (USA) who spiritually support one another in our Bardic, Ovate, and Druid work during the circle of the year. Being so near the World-Sea, our patron is Manannan mac Lir, a Celtic god of the Ocean. Members of the Manannan mac Lir Grove combine the beliefs of Druidry with Celtic shamanism and the work of R.J. Stewart. To find out more about our beliefs, read the Manifesto of the Manannan mac Lir Grove.
